Hina Patel
Photography teacher and mentor
Hina is a photography teacher and creative. She taught our workshops in Orakei and Manurewa local board areas, Epsom Normal Primary school, Tamaki college and Roscommon school in 2022-2024, and mentored some of our borrow-a-camera students. Her work was a key part of our 'Centres of Wellbeing' book published in 2023.
Mark Ryan
Photography teacher
Mark was a photography teacher who taught our workshops in Orakei, Kaipatiki and Manurewa local board areas. He had years of deep experience and a great way of relating with young people. Mark passed away in 2024.
Chelsea Samuel
Workshop Coordinator
Chelsea was part of our team as the workshop coordinator in 2024-2025. She was the key point of communications with the parents of participants and workshop volunteers, and shared images from workshops afterwards.
Ana Lyubich
Magazine designer
Ana is a photography teacher and magazine designer, and the founder of Excio and Art of Seeing academy. She was the volunteer designer of our biannual magazine from 2023-2025. Her work helped take the magazine from an online-only mobile format to the printed form that we currently produce.
Kinga Nagygyorgy
Photography mentor
Kinga is a nature and travel photographer from Hungary. She volunteered at our workshops and mentored students in 2025-2026 while she was working in New Zealand.
