― Sir David Attenborough
We believe that by forming deep connections to our natural environment, we are happier, more compassionate, conserve what we love, and live sustainably.
Through REEfS, we will use nature photography to enhance mental wellbeing, deepen connection with nature, increase awareness of local ecology and provide an avenue for artistic expression through photography. Please see our workshop brochure.
"This we know - the earth does not belong to man, man belongs to the earth. All things are connected like the blood that unites us all. Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself."
- Chief Seattle
New Zealand, like the rest of the world, is facing conservation, climate change and sustainability challenges. We want to increase awareness and inspire action, and a critical step is to connect people with nature.
"Look deep into nature and you will understand everything better."
- Albert Einstein

"Those who dwell among the beauties and mysteries of the earth are never alone or weary of life."
